Moved (part 2)

So ... it's Wednesday and I'm good on our couch in our new house on the green Kruisstraat 's Gravendeel. My back and arms still sore from doing all the lifting, but we are just about within two days (though at the Orange Street lot, but that must go to the store).

This house is really an improvement, living a somewhat normal form (and finally finished with the horrible wallpaper), an upstairs bathroom and ample storage space below. In contrast, my "walk-in closet to miss. Oh it's all relaief, but now we're awfully glad that we all just need to move a backpack. Only to wake up in another place, I shall take some getting used to. Now we prepare for our old and new ... and then it starts again the week almost.

Nine January 3 is part of the move. ... It's still a hassle, but we have a lot of help ... and February 13 we will move away again, then again also help.

* Sigh * at least we are now well and I'm now full of enjoyment: BREAKFAST!

Move or not move (or two times?)

The past week it was about time for another dose of stress. The holidays are almost begun to ensure that we are in a deep quiet valley of Camelot has covered entertainment, for whom we have this palace in 's-Gravendeel live action.

Last Friday was my (Judica) the last working day before the holidays, it was Christmas breakfast for all grades in school and very cozy. In between, I just checked my email with an email which stated that we had at January 12 are considered to leave the house (What happened to the the next two years is not demolished?). So quite bales! Michael has called and get right before I got home there seemed to be already solved. A building, house around the corner, the crow flies 100 meters away from our current house. IDEAL we thought. If that would not happen there was always a good option for Michael mothers to stay, very nice ... but as an independent safety net is preferred.

After much calling organization C. there was a catch up. It started with the fact that we had come to Amsterdam again to sign the contract (one day traveling. ...), In addition we would also a € 75 administrative costs p must pay for the move (that means just 150 pieces) . We had them really quickly that we did a big favor. On the house was already empty and C. promised the owners that they always use someone immediately. If we were to move there, we should try to get this house still looks lived to see. After we all heard that we decided we had better stick with Michael's mother could sit.
Also, I can easily say that a house two years available, the residents after 2 months and then uitschoppen money for a new home. Not so the non profit organization, and Michael can not stand injustice ... so we would move to mother on January 9.

The story continues, yesterday we contacted by organizing C. with the message that we naturally without the administrative costs to move because we are only 2 months and that the key and the contract immediately be sent by registered post. So after we have done everyone a call to help with moving it is not so immediately necessary. We move next week into a house with mini chandelier and curtains and are very curious ... we have not even seen the inside. Key features and so I must really take a look!

Because of the independence move we pass Saturday, February 13th ... so who wants to help, be welcome!

clothing test (1)

This weekend we have not done exciting things, all we really preparing the world have done is to get an international license in Australia so we can actually rent a motorhome. Today we would do something about the site (by we I mean it), but nothing has changed.

It was the first really cold day of the year and with that lovely sun we could not resist and we go for a wnadelen. The excuse that we just had (otherwise we would sound very different things) anyway was that we had our coats and jackets testing. In Russia it will be very cold and we need to know whether we were a little prepared. Conclusion, the coats and jackets are great, only to wind through the gloves and we have no good hats :) . Those are reasons to go shopping again ... so I am very very happy!

Visa Applications

Another week passed and the last weekend we went to press the blow. Besides that Michael has been busy with the website yesterday, I have paid into the various visa applications. We let it all take care of it so we do not spend weeks with back and forth trips to embassies and consulates. Yet you have stacks of paper all yourself. It's really a stack, and then we only need visas for Russia, Mongolia, China and Vietnam (the other, we can buy at the border or over the Internet control). Then you think, voila, 4x fill out a form, attach some photographs on, put it in an envelope and send the whole. Grrrrr only it were that simple!

Half fill you on the internet and then print. We have an invitation is necessary for Russia to come in, which should be regulated separately. Daarnaas thebben the Russians decided (naja, it's not entirely unreasonable) that we have a proof that we in Russia are insured. This should be a schedule that says that we in Russia are insured or global coverage. This had to come from the insurer because we have no where else on it. STRESS! We were here to deal with the time you should charge for each visa, brought Christmas ... and it appears that there is very little time. The application must therefore as soon as possible.

We arrived just a short photo per person ... but everything is completed, the photographs are taken and if all goes well tomorrow we get the Russian statement in the mail. Well regulated ... but what a hassle. You're involved with everything except that one form. But we should definitely not complaining, because ... we will travel 8 months and we do not even own past all the embassies.

We may just as any country and may carry the evidence of this in our passports! great!
