Russians vs Mongols

So here we are, a library of our host. We've been out all afternoon and have already seen so much. Michael sits next to me and is busy with the pictures so they can also be updated.

Mongolia is not what we expected, the atmosphere is much friendlier terms than Russia (and that was us all along). The people are much more western furnishings than I thought. Everywhere they speak at least a little English. For those (like me) thought that Ulaan Baatar is not very big, it's great megalomaniac. Pictures will follow soon, then you can see it and what a smog!

And it started with, what's so different about these people that directly as a different atmosphere? Today we just made an inventory:

Russians:

  • Are women more feminine and dressed much fur
  • Do they appropriately and inappropriately stiletto heels
  • Drink a lot and our strange times
  • Looking generally not happy, but with effort, you will break through (our hostess Nor does that glimlachde constant)
  • make like a chat
  • Have toilet paper in all colors of the rainbow (really!)
  • The streets are cleaner
  • Have European toilets

Mongols

  • What are the women tougher / more western dress
  • Watching all somehow happy (or their faces is our itnerpretatie
  • Its very helpful, even for me standing on the bus
  • Making like a chat
  • Have great cultural clothing (see also in town)
  • Have cleaner cars
  • Often have to stand by French toilets
  • Are very health (no really fat person view)
  • Are extremely proud of their country (what, do you stay so recently, then you can not see everything)

There follows much more, but for now these were just the things that stood out the most. We'll be our guest kids take the bus to the Ger. We are very excited ... it was a bit exciting.

Mongols!

17. All those steps

Well, that was me giving birth! After the necessary rebound we are now finally in a cafe called "Brauhaus" in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. As the name suggests etablisement is determined Ulaanbaatar an international city. It is here in the center filled with large, expensive buildings, often with English names. We feel so much more at home than in Russia. This country, we understand (a little).

This morning we arrived at half past 7 on the drive. It was still dark and around 20 degrees of frost. Meanwhile we are used to rain, so no worries on that front. But where other train passengers were picked up by their hostel, we were all alone ...

So get a cup of tea at the station. The restoration was happy just opened. For 600 Tugrit (about 30 cents) we got two hot cups of tea. For 350 Tugrik, and we also had a hard boiled egg. Jummie! Getting used here so that everybody stares at us.

Then around 7:30 it started to be light, we put it on a walk. Calm down, because our backpacks weighed considerably by the cold and also had its impact. In Irkutsk we had a little card signed which indicated that our host works in Mongolia. Obviously we are quite lost. The monarch also worked on Judica's bladder and an emergency stop at a luxury hotel was therefore required.

Eventually we found an Irish Pub, apparently in the center of the city. The guides on our Minime helped us further. As an Australian with his guide came to drink a cup of tea, we meet our Savior, the Aussie had a Mongolian guide with him showing us the way to the library was able to show. We are now close to (but are obviously completely walked past). On to the library so but ...
