| 15 ° 52 'N, 108 ° 20' E 9 April 2010, 17:20 The posts begin to be a little sparse. Are we writing for the site already Sat? Absolutely not, but we will not bore you with the message that we have been back to the beach and for the umpteenth time the clothes have fit ... That is currently our daily work. In recent days we have surrendered to the very easy addiction to offer custom-made clothes. The score so far: Michael: 3 packs (1 blue, 1 gray and 1 brown linen) 1 long linen trousers 1 short pants Judica: 2 short pants 4 dresses (silver, black / yellow-green, aqua / black and floral design) 2 skirts 1 chinese top 1 pack (Yes I am beaten by some, but still cheaper than Michael) The day started very civilized but it is so very cool to own clothes to create / design, the fabric and just finding out exactly as you want to get adjusted. The suits are cast as Michael, with beautiful colors lining. They are beautifully finished and first applied it directly just fine. My dresses are super, after the first great dropped out I could not resist ordering more. Summer dresses, party dresses, work dresses, everything is possible and costs practically nothing. Two packs (1 of 1 of me and Michael), we have a real 'shop' make and so far as I am the least satisfied. The other garments we all have to make makrt (note that within market with fixed shops, many fabrics and sewing machines everywhere) where the seamstresses can instantly see what needs to be modified. Generally it is very fast, a morning suit and ordered the afternoon could be doorgepast.Toch for the first time it's the little details that take a long time, a zipper is not quite right, not a fold etc. You can hear what you say here ... witl the customer is truly king. So the last few days were filled with fit and cycle to the beach to enjoy sun and sea. Tomorrow we pick up all the clothes and we will have to find a box to the address to send home. Before that time, we as well have pictures of all creations. Super. Tomorrow we go again. We sat in one place long enough and are sufficiently equipped to also be able to take in some culture. Nha Trang (the next destination in our open bus ticket) We skip. It's a seaside town only larger than Hoi An. We continue to Dalat where the surroundings should be beautiful. But before we left ... 1 more day to enjoy delicious. juutsel | Tags: buy clothes Posted in Hoi An | 2 Comments » 16 ° 6 'N, 108 ° 16' E 7 April 2010, 17:30 Whether it was because we were desperate for a way to fill the void that our Israeli friends had left to fill or because we just needed a bit of commotion, we are today, the bike jumped. Strictly speaking it was, I think motor scooters, but they were in any case hard. We talked with Tsvi and Nohar already several times mentioned the idea to rent scooters and four of us somewhere to ride, but when we got the duo once again on the bike had seen fumbling, we have the idea further but abandoned. But now they were gone and so we threw our only chance. Initially uncomfortable (never before done), but still flexible gaanderweg we sent our motor scooters away from Hoi An to the north, Danang meet. Knowing that we are somewhere along one of the few attractions of the region, namely the 'Marble Mountains' would come, that seemed like a nice ride. We have enjoyed it, though we found it occasionally rather exciting. With a modest 50 kmh we whizzed over the smooth asphalt of the boulevard 'China Beach'. Along the way we enjoyed a drink somewhere half with someone at home (but in her shop) and we made fast a single photo of the marble mountains (which were not really worth seeing). To reward ourselves for our bravado, we have a number of suits ordered. Here in Hoi An is full of tailors and between 40 and 70 euros, you can here easily be measured for a suit. For me, the two suits become (tomorrow I fit them) and a suit for Judica, two dresses, a skirt and a pair of shorts, all for a song. In between we also have here on the beach, ate some fried rice, made friends with lobster in 'Death tub await their last meal, all swept away sand, '92 petrol fueled (which still exists?) , lots of drinking fruit shakes, banana pancakes eaten, a chat with a security guard who, like we made a stop near a huge marble Buddha, and so on and so forth. An eventful day so, and one overlooking the lake. Tomorrow by fit, have a beer with our Dutch fellow travelers in Hanoi and so some more. We do not get bored ... michiel Dewit | Tags: Hoi An , Marble Mountain , Motor , Vietnam Posted in Hoi An | No Comments » 15 ° 53 'N, 108 ° 20' E 4 April 2010, 15:34 Feet up, relax on a lounger by the hotel pool. From a comfortable position that I look back at the past two days in Hoi An. It feels like a holiday. After a month "working" it's time to interrupt the rhythm travel and what to hang on the beach. Much more is anyway not to. This morning we are on a tour of the attraction of Hoi An was: My Son, an ancient temple complex of Cham, a Hindu people from India. The temples seem to be similar to the known Ankhor in Cambodia, only the complex is much smaller. Unfortunately, the Americans (in their brutality) a large part of My Son blasted, but what's left of it, was certainly impressive. All brick buildings, filled with beautiful decorations (and moss). Incidentally, our trip to My Son quite matineus: recommended by the Lonely Planet we are already at 5 o'clock in the morning departed, so we could be great for tourists mob. That was a success. We finally buts but with a man or 30 on the complex and that was just enough to occasionally even take a picture without a tourist out to make. Yesterday we went to the beach, on the bike. Although Hoi An as a seaside resort goes through life, gold and azure least another half hour road cycling. Beautiful beach, palm trees and a brown blue sea. Very clean, but not the azure of the booklets. Incidentally, it is now quite hot (thank God, our air conditioner repaired yesterday) and we, despite all lubrication practices, rather sunburnt. The food here is also fine. The town is charming and cozy and the people here are much warmer and cozier (whether they fall you still bother to purchase many suggestions). We have decided here to stay for a while. Our Israeli friends go away after tomorrow, so tomorrow is our last day. That will be a shame. For us a few days quiet Hoi An. michiel Dewit | Tags: Hoi An , My Son , Beach , Vietnam Posted in Hoi An | 3 Comments » 15 ° 52 'N, 108 ° 20' E 3 April 2010, 11:59 We have another day in Hoi An but the journey here was an experience in zich.De sleeper was an experience in itself. Shoes upon entering and then install. Michael just does not fit with his 1.87 in the chair, so my seat was swapped for a little longer. Yet he could ni3t completely lie down, but in itself not a bad transportation. That they may have of me bet on bus trips to ski . There are thus 35/36 berths in the coach and his bunk. The bus driver honked for Vietnamese standards and we just barely slept reasonably well. Around an hour or 8 we were in Hue. A beautiful city that is separated by a river. The bus would be around thirty in the afternoon drive on so we had a tight 6 hours in Hue. Bags garaged and first breakfast. We do some walking around, but soon we sought the shade in a park with a drink. In a mall nabijglegen we (finally!) two hempjes for me to score in my size. The air itself was redeng enoeg to go inside gaan.Een delicious soft ice cream and then it was time to go back. The bus ride to Hoi An was another 3 hours and since we were back in the sleeperbus inquiries and news we have some nice gedut. In Hoi An we would our Israeli friends meet again at a hotel which was already booked. Once there is no trace of our friends, after repeated questions quite suddenly she remembered that she went to another hotel and we take a taxi there. This hotel was just outside the center but it's great. Apparently Israel Irish are known for being the lowest in price from the can get. When they told their nationality was $ 2 cheaper room and breakfast included. Our room is also on these charges so that's lucky. The hotel is great, we even have a swimming pool. Hoi An is the city of tailors ... For all brides-to-be: It's better to travel here to do, for $ 300 you have the most luxurious sparkling dress that you can imagine and for the money you have in the Netherlands to spend you there is still a great vacation at. We are thinking to Michael for a few packs to make and for me some and then sent home. Super. Despite that this is about tourism, everything is much cheaper than in other cities. Thus, the food just as good but half the price. We stay here a while The pictures follow but now we get good food. juutsel | Tags: Hoi An , Hue , sleeper , Vietnam Posted in Hoi An | No Comments » 20 ° 15 'N, 105 ° 58' E 1 April 2010, 14:02 Sleeping out ... finally we rested a day. In recent days we had so much to do that the alarm at 7:00 meetal all went. Today there was nothing ... I was obviously already at half past seven wakkeer (grrr ... biological clock), but Michael has been given some extra sleep. There was not really on the program. Bags all packed again with clean laundry and hang on and wait. This morning we're both here in our uppie oppad gone. We travel another week with other people and really get time for yourself was not there. I rondgekuierd delicious, fresh pineapple met for breakfast, along the flooded, let me palpate because of white skin and heard at any store that they have nothing in my size or just plain laugh at me. In short, it was lovely to be alone. Just after noon we are back together somewhere for a drink and went in search of yet another tourist activity in the city. We arrived at a park with a mountain (you). No western tourist to see and just regular prices. The real Vietnam still taste better at places where people cards, drinking and eating. For the last time to our favorite "fried rice" restaurant to our bellies full of food. On the way home we were besieged by children of 4-6 years who all 'hello' to us wanted to say and wanted to shake our hand. Sometimes you feel like a celebrity when you walk around here. People laughing, waving, walking with children and females would sometimes like to compare their skin color. Actually hilarious. In the hotel we could actually have a shower, so now we sit behind the computer in the lobby omdathet wireless Neit to wait until we do so to another hotel where we walk in the bus. We have a great deal, $ 25 pp for an open bus ticket from here to Saigon, but then you go out. Tonight we ride in a sleeper (with only beds) to Hue. We can deliver the bags and afternoons around an hour or 1 we depart from there to Hoi An. Our Israeli friends are there today and flown await us in the hotel. Hoi An is a beach destination ... zouik finally able to dig out my bikini? Allez first ... but once that bag to carry the boarding place and then while the bus lulls me dreaming of an air mattress on the sea ... juutsel | Tags: day nothing , Bing Ninh , Vietnam Posted in Ninh Binh , Vietnam | No Comments »
