Yesterday we had a lot of lives, but that was actually child's play compared with the good deeds we have done today. Our second day of the Rescue Diver course was dominated by the 'real work'. This morning, first in shallow water a few unconscious diver to the beach dragging. It was a hassle and traipsing. While the divers (Gloria and Misha were volunteers) mouth to mouth beademden, we had them and rid ourselves of their diving equipment. Then if they like potato sacks on our backs hung along the beach. It is here on the island without exception warm, so you can imagine us all this fiddling quite a sweat broke out.
For a few days by the whispers of a diving instructor Ed 'dive from hell, the misery of epitoom underwater. Or at least, as it was presented. In reality, especially the high jinks. With five we went for a 'very ordinary' dive. All the rigging on the boat was speculating on what is loose and could go wrong. Once underwater, we got the full blast: flooded masks, panic, wegdrijvende flippers, a nitrogen drunk diver who is trying to resuscitate fish, fight underwater, lost weight belts, do so. Fortunately, we were always on time and we could all simulated suffering expertly remedy. We have passed the test in short, of all places in poor visibility in murky water!
The Dutch enclave Impian Divers called today was of course for yet another challenge: the Netherlands-Denmark. Insofar as there is among staff and students enthusiasm was (surprisingly many divers do not like football) everyone went to the 'Safety Stop Pub' in all comfort and safety in the diving competition. The undersigned is no big oranjefan and came only after a quarter in the second half the cluppie strengthen. There was subdued cheers and appropriately enjoyed all of this under the pleasure of many ... water! Because divers are responsible people.
For the next day, relax on the program. To our dive log the required 20 dives to be completed tomorrow, we 'um sonst' to one of the favorite dive spots for double deep dive. That bodes "oh and ah.
