Kota Bahru city = new

Malaysia was, as Michael wrote a really different experience. For our loyal readers still, when we actually start traveling again in a month really tracking every day messages back then because we experience things. After 3 days gone back to three new posts, we have been through so much.

The slightly longer version of the story, day before yesterday morning when we rolled off the train arrived, we walked quickly to the exit (again great show of strength with big guns) where there are already dozens of motorcycles were ready to transport us. The small rock nap took us still 30TBH (0.75 euro) and soon the border. As mentioned, we shared a taxi with David, a Frenchman for his visa to Kota Bahru went. Of the way there in the taxi, I can not remember the view, I'm talking generally much but I found David not intervene.

Passports taken away and soon the two of us on the road because after a night's sleep is not a talkative Frenchman something too much. He advised us to still get past Mydin, a supermarket. After a round of hotels finally found a hotel in price and service was consistent with our wishes. Enjoy a shower and then out anyway.

At the supermarket, we made a real success. On the island, everything is twice as expensive and the choice is minimal. Toothbrushes, shower gel, baby oil and table tennis balls (for Ed, attribute to deep diving) were broken. Michael and I foraged sometimes scattered throughout the store. At moments like this I could tell that young teenage boys like me "subtle" haunted. Of course I had long pants and covered my shoulders but I probably looked after local standards still look like a prostitute.

There was even a lingerie department where I (thought I) had found something in my size, there were European sizes op.Nadat us (without the row to watch) had settled our bags were sealed with a cable tie, the voucher was the bag and stuck at the exit of the store you got a stamp on the receipt. So, you create something does work and is also very difficult to steal.

We have things a little back to the hotel and came to the conclusion that bought the bra did not fit. Back to the store, voucher and take to the customer department. It was initially impossible to trade. Well since I bought less than 3 hours in my possession and all the tickets had sat there I realized something more. The woman asked if something else in my size at Sat What it was my size? I reiterated that the size of the bra was in Europe would be just my size. On to the lingerie department to see if anything was different.

Before going further I must admit that among women in Islamic culture, a kind of connectedness that I am not used to know. Several times I was right by the women looked and was friendly and polite laughter. It felt like a shared secret that the rest do not know, very different and special.

In the lingerie department was then moved heaven and earth to put anything in my size and taste like. It was something I looked around and found that there was not anything a fitting room. again without buying something I am not really fit anymore. Anyway without much ado, the clerk held it for, making the bra to the rear and there I was, right in the store / supermarket, fully dressed in a red bra over my clothes. I admit that I am not easily embarrassed, but this was really about my limit.

Of course I have not bought that bra but we could get a voucher for the amount. Still looking for things we needed to semi to the amount of EUR 3 to come. Can you still buy quite a lot for :)

The next morning quickly to the consulate, by taxi, on the border, the moped to the station. There is time enough and we have enjoyed great special fried bananas. The train journey was long, tiring, there are hot but we came.

This trip I will not soon forget, but it's really wonderful to wake up on a boat, the sun's coming next paradeiland your temporary home.

Do I understand correctly that you continue your journey in early September? Can you look around on the scheme website? So what date you go to Sydney, how long you remain there, you rent a camper there, or fly directly to New Zealand? And how long do you stay there? Still 6 weeks or is truncated?
Now that I read it so I would think that over the coming six weeks used to earn a little extra help as a dive and then the rest of the journey make.
Hopefully this report is correct to the right place, but I doubt not, of course Michael's IT skills :)

Your response is to the right place ... Some time ago I had all the data has changed, is under the heading itinerary. The bold things are adaptations. And unfortunately only 4-5 weeks, then we really do see something of Malaysia.
