Yesterday we were already in Kuala Lumpur, but a lot of courage to do great things we did not. That gehobbel with that minivan was especially me clothes sit in the cold. From the intense cornering at the beginning of the ride was what upset my stomach and hit the anti-allergiepil the night before had managed to make me very drowsy. Anyway, today a new opportunity.
The night in our hostel was colder than expected. Of economy we had no A / C ordered, but even with just the fan, we got the best cold tonight. We are clearly adapted to the climate (or just zeikerds). This morning we had breakfast at 7-eleven, because we were reluctant to make stuff out of it. Just a few white dots filled with kaya (coconut eierjam) and let's go.
For lunch we met with Anton, a White Russian who we had met on Koh Tao. To achieve that time what to do to have, but once we decided to explore Times Square. We had understood that many Times Square storey market building, but we arrived a bit cheated them out: it was just a huge shopping mall to be like KL so many rich. In this mall is not normally much to do and we expect little. Judica treated himself to a tasty sandwich from Subways (because of American restaurants in Times Square is no shortage) we ordered and then step through to the 6th floor.
The map was indicated that the building has a 'theme park' was. That we had in Penang also sometimes seen standing and then turned to gambling to go. Even so, I'm curious to Judica swept to a surprise: a part of the skyscraper appeared between the 5th and the 10th floor to be opened up to a real indoor theme park inns. Besides various rides and attractions there was a real (not childish!) Roller coaster. We have seen him in action, but it looked quite frightening.
Of course there was also an old-fashioned amusement park in the gambling hall and this time we could not resist. We have purchased tokens for 3 euros and are loosened on the devices. First a few games Streetfighter 4 against each other. I Judica completely preserved, ha! Then the air hockey table contained: 6-5 Judica. And to top it all off we both make a few laps on the bike being tearing. With 150 by the turn ... that made us remember the good old days in Vietnam ...
Around noon we Anton picked up the monorail. Also a fantastic invention. I was once crazy. Small metro in the air on a few concrete beam balance. Much less ugly than the large metro viaducts. Anyway, so Anton: gray and he saw what was clearly less happy than on Koh Tao. We have tried to cheer him and his purpose but a piece of the city walked towards the Petronas towers.
Oddly enough corpses to 4 after the world's largest towers underneath it if you is not so high. They reach almost half a kilometer into the sky, but would also continue for 100 meters high. The human eye is not so clearly more critical over 'very high'. Erin, we could unfortunately not, but around the towers are a large shopping center and park built. There we looked around us and amazed at the many upscale boutiques. In the park we found some peace and we could see the towers from a distance even check.
(Addition of Judica: The park was also a kind of pool space, blue tiles, clean water, you know the drill. There were two female guards at and I could not even walk into the water. As I climbed towards the stern was whistled and rejected. No idea why not. In the same swings later, I swung back and forth twice before headscarf-wearing officer motioned me to go off of the swing.)
After a cup of coffee at Starbucks, we Anton back on the monorail to go home and we put them a little at a large electronics mall long run to the last ringgit that I still had my birthday on it. Our new camera produces impressive amounts of bytes and for that all have to take, I now have a beautiful Ferrari-red hard drive purchased. It is a gem. Oh, and we still have a small fold-speaker on the head.
Last night we ate at my intercession Indian Judica and tonight should choose: it was Chinese. In a food court near the hostel, located in China-town we got for little tasty, free-pepper rice with chicken dished. We feasted on them and then the quiet evening spent in the room.
